Once upon a time, there was an esteemed Knight and her Princess.
The Knight was appointed by the Princess' Advisor to protect the Princess while she was making public appearances, and about her various activities. The Knight, of course, accepted.
Though not being all too talkative, and though being technically hired to be there, the Knight thoroughly enjoyed the Princess' company, even considering her to be her friend. The Princess, too, trusted the Knight completely.
The two stood beside each other on numerous occasions, and were also quite fond of each other, this went on for quite a while...
But then, one day, the Princess was revealed to not have any royal blood within her, and lost her title of "Princess." She then, of her own volition, chose to leave the palace... and rents an small apartment.
Very alone, she felt. As not the Advisor nor her Knight would now have any obligation to be with her, She misses her Knight dearly. Solitarily, she lay on her bed, thoughts piled up. Her luggage in a mess, and the room empty.
Then, she hears a knock on her door. Lo and behold, it's her Knight! She came to see the princess by choice, even though she hadn't any obligation anymore.
The knight looks around the Princess' apartment and is shocked. She immediately offers to pay for a better place for the princess, to which the princess refuses. Still, the Knight helps her unpack her luggage and tidy her place, she then invites the Princess to a gathering, a gathering for friends. For the first time ever, the princess accepts, as she no longer has her vital secret to keep. The Knight accompanies her, and her Princess gets to know how much all her friends truly mean to her
Despite anything, the Knight will always willingly choose to be with the Princess.
